Another gem from the Raw Story, Ron Paul is now the head of the House Federal Reserve oversight committee. This was a startling bit of evidence to most in the freedom arena, especially to me, I was very doubtful that he would receive this position. It makes one wonder, why exactly the powers that be are allowing him this position.

While I believe that the state should not be involved in marriage regardless of religion and from a secular point of view, as Christians I believe we have even more of a reason to uphold our freedom. I still don't know how I feel about WikiLeaks, part of me wants to believe that there could be a website that  releases information that threatens the establishment, but yet part of me believes they are probably part of a CIA operation. Why would I think that? Well, the information they have released has not been very threatening to the U.S. government, there have been a few instances where they released disturbing and critical information but most of it was not anything really detrimental or surprising. But, nonetheless, this article shows that perhaps the website is real, and the state is running scared. Who doesn't like that?
